Kunoichi Taikai
Dear fellow Buyu,
Here is the latest news regarding the Kunoichi Taikai 2010...the online registration is now available for all women interested in attending!! We are excited to welcome all the Buyu women to participate. It is recommended that before registering to check out the evening program, since much of this will be part of the registration process. You can check out the packages for the training and costs here. We feel it is extremely reasonable and which include not only the training, but accommodations and meals each day. The options for payment are via a direct bank transfer or through Paypal using either your Paypal account or a credit card.
If you haven't visited the site recently, you might like to check it out. You will notice we have it translated into 5 languages now, besides English, there is Spanish, French, German and Hungarian. We would like to give credit to these people for their hard work in translating all this material, and continuing to do so as new material becomes available.

As with projects of a large nature such as this, all the credit for making it happen goes to those who donate time and effort to help make it a success. We have had a lot of help to this point and would like to thank these people for their assistance.
Ingo Riedel for Things to do in Hannover Eva Bodogan for countless, stressful hours in creating the website (and more to come) Alex Volodko for this last minute rescue in helping Eva on the registration form and other significant technical issues Debbie Baxter and Laura Marshall both for their help in soliciting sponsors (more help is needed!!) Anya Pusch, Karin Riemenschneider and Anne Lattner for time consuming work of compiling dojo email addresses for the newsletter.
We are extremely grateful for the support, the words of encouragement and the enthusiasm of many of the kunoichi for the event. We are especially appreciative of the support and understanding of our fellow buyu who encourage their female students to attend.
Ways you can help......
We have posters you can print and share with others and banners for posting on your website. You can access the posters in 2 sizes, A4 and Letter. The banners can be accessed here and for an animated banner, here. Please also pass it on to other dojos - we are trying to e-mail as many as we can but there must be many, many more of us.
If you know companies or businesses who might like to sponsor or donate please contact us. We have a letter that can be sent to them with specific information.
Have you considered a fund raiser in your dojo to support female students attending? We have heard of some dojos holding a special event or seminar to help with the travel costs. What a great idea!
You might consider a personal or dojo donation to help defray some of the costs, as we are trying to keep this very reasonable. Any small amount is helpful.
Spread the word!!
Support the Kunoichi travels!
It has come to our attention that some of the women wishing to come have never traveled and feel a bit insecure in this area. Some women have offered help as a "travel coordinator" for their country, connecting with and helping to organize a group travel, so all the women can feel secure and safe in a long distance travel such as this. If you are interested in attending the Taikai and do not feel comfortable traveling alone, please email us and we will help
connect you with other women to travel with. On the other side, if you are interested in helping out in this area and would like to be a point of contact for women in your country, please email us and we will add you to the list. Let's all support each other!

any questions you can email: info@bujinkankunoichi.com
In the spirit of Budo, thank you!
